Lartington Parish Council

Data Protection

The Council is revising its policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the latest GDPR Regulations.

Lartington Parish Council holds very little personal data. Except for the contact details of those with whom we work or have necessary contact. We hold no data relating to the age, gender or personal circumstances of residents and hold no information about those under 18.

Our Information and Data Protection Policy can be found here.

The Council would like to use email to distribute occasional newsletters. There are also a few occasions when the Council receives information, for instance about inclement weather or road closures, which it would like to be able to circulate more widely. If residents are happy to take advantage of this then please complete and return this form to lartingtonpc@gmail.com

Speedwatch - Volunteers needed!

The Parish Council has always been committed to Speedwatch and has now been allocated dedicated equipment by Durham Police. This means that we will be able to conduct Speedwatch exercises at times that concern us most - most notably school drop-off and pick-up times.

The Council has a small core of volunteers who are able to operate the equipment but would welocme help - details can be found in the latest newsletter which has been distributed through the village and is available in the Newsletter section of the website.
